Wines by Locals is a curated wine selection service based in Bordeaux, France. We offer subscription-based wine deliveries, handpicked by local wine experts.

2. Products and Pricing

All prices are displayed inclusive of VAT. Prices are shown in Euros (€). The applicable price is the one displayed at the time of your order.

All prices include wine, shipping, customs fees, and taxes, as indicated on each product page.*

*All prices are subject to adjustment based on the import tariffs and customs duties in effect at the time of shipment. Members will be notified in advance of any price adjustment.

3. Orders

By placing an order on winesbylocals.com, you confirm that you are of legal drinking age in your country of residence (18 years or older in France and most countries).
Orders are confirmed by email upon receipt of payment. Wines by Locals reserves the right to cancel any order in the event of stock unavailability or pricing error.

4. Delivery

Wines are shipped internationally via Pelican Air Services. Delivery timelines vary depending on destination and chosen subscription plan (1, 2, 3, or 4 deliveries per year). Each shipment is packed in wine-specific packaging with full tracking provided.

5. Subscriptions and Payment

Payment is processed at each delivery, as indicated on the product page. By selecting a subscription plan, you agree to be charged the displayed price for each scheduled delivery.

Please note that payments are processed on a fixed schedule. However, to protect the quality of your wines, actual delivery dates may occur after your payment date, as we carefully time shipments to avoid extreme temperatures and unfavorable weather conditions. We will always notify you before each delivery.

At Wines by Locals, we carefully schedule our deliveries to ensure your wines travel under the best possible conditions. To protect the quality of each bottle, shipments are timed to avoid extreme temperatures and unfavorable weather conditions. As a result, your payment schedule follows a fixed billing cycle, while actual delivery dates may vary slightly to align with optimal shipping conditions. We appreciate your understanding and trust, our priority is always to deliver your wines in perfect condition.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

6. Returns and Refunds

Upon delivery, please inspect your shipment carefully. If the package is visibly damaged, we recommend refusing delivery. If you accept the package, please note any visible damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt before signing. This is required to support any insurance claim or replacement request.

Due to the nature of our products (perishable goods and international shipping), we do not accept returns. However, if you receive a damaged or incorrect order, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@winesbylocals.com and we will find an appropriate solution.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bordeaux, France.
